Ji Mi Kim is a Retirement Plan Consultant in the Honolulu, Hawaii office. Her role is in business development and to provide consulting and support services to sponsors of qualified retirement plans. Ji Mi's work involves advising retirement plan committees on plan governance, fiduciary best practices, vendor contract negotiations, and employee communication strategies. Ji Mi serves clients across a wide range of industries including food and beverage distribution, hospitality, restaurants, retail, engineering, real estate, accounting, legal, insurance, education, and social services.
Prior to joining SageView, Ji Mi performed financial management consulting and development at PricewaterhouseCoopers, IBM, Unisys, and the Executive Branch of the Federal Government. Among her clients were corporations and several government agencies including USPS, Agriculture, Homeland Security, and the Agency for International Development.
Ji Mi graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in Economics. She holds the Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC) designation and the FINRA Series 65 securities registration. Ji Mi is a member of the National Association of Plan Advisors. She serves on the Board of Trustees of the Honolulu Theatre for Youth.
