Doug O’Rear leads the SageView office in Frederick, Maryland and has over 18 years of experience in retirement plan consulting. Before joining SageView in 2024, he was an advisor and co-founder of OnTrack 401(k).
As a former public school teacher, he saw an opportunity to improve retirement outcomes by educating and empowering both plan sponsors and plan participants. His dedication to this work has earned him national recognition, and he holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation. Doug resides in Middletown, MD, with his family in a charming 1910s home that has become his labor of love. Outside of work and home renovation projects, Doug enjoys staying active, spending quality time with his family, and exploring the outdoors.
