Dan is a Principal and Consulting Actuary in the Houston, TX office of SageView Consulting Group. He is an Enrolled Actuary and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
Dan has over thirty years of experience working with both qualified and non-qualified retirement plans for private and public sector clients as well as multiemployer plans. He also has experience providing actuarial valuation services for postretirement benefit plans other than pensions in accordance with ASC 715-60 and GASB 45. His experience includes the delivery of actuarial services, plan design consulting and merger and acquisition consulting.
Prior to joining SageView, his consulting career included periods of time with Nyhart, BPS&M, and A. Foster Higgins. In addition to consulting, he also spent 20 months with Hershey Foods Corporation as their Manager of Employee Benefits.
He is a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics.
