Celeste Thompson is Vice President, Legal for SageView Advisory Group, based out of the firm’s Dallas, Texas office. She is responsible for providing a broad range of advice and counsel relating to retirement plan consulting, wealth management, vendor agreements, business acquisitions, and related services focusing on regulatory and privacy matters. She supports cross-functional business teams on the development and maintenance of internal policies and procedures for handling client data, managing consents, and addressing data breaches.
Celeste joined SageView in 2024 from GuideStone Financial Resources, where she was managing the legal and operational risk functions for the investments line of business. Before that she held previous leadership roles overseeing the operational risk and legal compliance functions.
Celeste received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Loyola University of New Orleans and Juris Doctor from the University of Denver. She is a licensed attorney in the state of Texas.
