Alison Bettonville, CFA

Alison Bettonville is a Managing Director based in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, overseeing the office’s institutional retirement business. She oversees the delivery of services to retirement clients, leads subject matter expertise on governance, retirement plan design (qualified and non-qualified), plan administration and compliance, and legal and regulatory issues, and directly supports client relationships and committee meetings.

Before joining SageView in 2025, Alison was a Principal, Director of Institutional Advisory Services at CAP STRAT, where she began her career in 2009. In this role, she supported the development of CAP STRATs investment process, including manager research and portfolio construction and led the development of CAP STRAT’s research team. She was responsible for investment analysis and the development of client reporting, including market reviews, manager searches, asset allocation studies, and investment performance reporting. She delivered investment results and recommendations to institutional clients, including defined contribution plans, pension plans, foundations, and operating accounts.

Alison graduated with honors from Marquette University with a bachelor’s in business administration, majoring in finance, economics, and international business. Alison is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Chicago.
