SageView Recognizes Excellence in Client Service by Recordkeeper Relationship Managers
NEWPORT BEACH (August 11, 2021) – SageView Advisory Group (“SageView”) announced its 9th Annual Retirement Plan Service Provider Excellence in Client Service Awards, recognizing individuals from Empower, Fidelity and TIAA.
Using an internal survey, SageView asked its retirement plan consultants from around the country to nominate the recordkeeper relationship managers they feel are supportive, client focused, and consistently deliver value, especially during the past 18 months. From a deep nomination pool, three rose to the top for 2021.
Identified by SageView’s consultants for superior commitment and service delivery to their shared clients were:
Dan McDermott from Empower, as nominated by Larissa Whittle, Retirement Plan Consultant, Nashville, TN: “Dan checks off all the boxes when it comes to his role as a relationship manager. He’s responsive, forward-thinking, and always willing to go the extra mile. Several times, he’s gone to upper management as an advocate for our client’s unique requests. Over the years, I’ve found that one of the most important traits in a relationship manager is understanding SageView’s role as a partner in serving our clients. Dan goes above and beyond to involve SageView; we have a true collaborative effort with Dan and his team to help our client succeed.”
Eileen Bialosky from Fidelity, as nominated by Jonathan St.Clair, Chief Fiduciary Officer and Managing Director, Atlanta, GA: “Eileen is a natural in partnering with SageView to deliver the best solutions for the client. She truly exemplifies the attitude that the client, SageView and recordkeeper are a three-legged stool working to help employees achieve their retirement goals. She continues to proactively bridge the relationship from all sides to look for win-win-win opportunities and does a great job keeping us in the loop on initiatives.”
Jason Andrade from TIAA, as nominated by Nick Jahn, Retirement Plan Consultant, Knoxville, TN: “Not all relationship managers share the same client-centric philosophy as SageView, and there is a huge difference between someone who is a recordkeeper advocate, and someone who is a client advocate – Jason is certainly the latter and it shows on a daily basis. Jason’s proactive, rather than reactive, approach addresses potential issues before they become problems. When issues do arise, Jason arrives on the scene well-versed on the cause, as well as the proposed solution, before even being asked. Because of these attributes, we have been able to ensure a consistent service approach across our clients.”
“The challenges of the last 12-18 months meant many Plan Sponsors needed additional support, and the three individuals recognized this year rose to the challenge. Dan, Eileen, and Jason share a passion and commitment to providing best-in-class service. Congratulations on being this year’s award recipients and thank you for your commitment to our shared clients,” said Randy Long, SageView Founder and CEO.
